We care deeply about your privacy and the protection of your personal data under US Law.
Information We Collect
When you browse, register, or place orders on Social Klout as a Customer, we collect:
- Account Data: First and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, username, and password.
- Social Login Data (Google & Apple): If you authenticate via "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple", we securely extract and store your authenticated Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture (Avatar). Apple users may utilize the "Hide My Email" private relay service.
- Usage & Telemetry Data: Device identifiers, OS versions, browser type, precise geolocation, IP address, profile views, search queries, coupon code usage, and transaction histories.
- Payment Details (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay): We utilize Stripe for payment processing. We never store full credit card numbers. If you use Apple Pay or Google Pay, encrypted tokens are passed to Stripe. Stripe securely provides us with necessary Customer IDs and transaction statuses.
How We Use Your Data
We process your Personal Information for the following purposes:
- To successfully process Order bookings, authorize payments, calculate discounts, and issue refunds.
- To operate automated fraud detection systems and process abuse reports.
- To dispatch transactional alerts (push notifications, emails, SMS) regarding pending orders and dispute resolutions.
General Provisions & US Rights
Push Notifications & Alert Consent:
To facilitate real-time order updates, we utilize Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). By enabling notifications, you consent to receive transactional and operational alerts. You retain the right to disable or opt-out of promotional push notifications at any time directly through your device OS settings.
Communication Monitoring & Interception Consent:
To maintain Trust & Safety and comply with App Store guidelines, Social Klout utilizes automated systems and manual moderators to monitor in-app chat messages, reviews, and order instructions. By using the Platform, you expressly consent to this monitoring and interception for the purposes of detecting fraud, harassment, and policy violations.
Sharing of Information:
We do not sell your Personal Information. We share data strictly with trusted vendors (Stripe, AWS, Communication Gateways) and between users only as necessary to fulfill Orders.
User Account & Data Deletion Instructions:
You have the right to permanently delete your Social Klout account and associated personal data at any time. To initiate account deletion:
- On Web Application: Log in and navigate to your Profile page, select the Delete Account tab, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On Mobile Application: Log in, navigate to the Profile tab, open Edit Profile, and select the Delete Account option.
Note: Deletion is permanent. However, if you possess pending orders, active disputes, or pending financial payouts, your deletion request will be suspended until all financial liabilities are resolved.
Data Retention & Taxes:
Financial and tax-related records (including payout histories and 1099-K issuance data) are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with United States federal and state tax accounting laws.
US State Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA):
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah possess specific rights regarding their Personal Information, including the Right to Know & Access, Right to Delete, Right to Correct, and the Right to Opt-Out of sharing. You will not face discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Submit requests to our Privacy Officer.
Children’s Privacy (COPPA):
Our Services are strictly designed for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age to register. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 13.
